Taking accurate measurements is the first important point to note when getting out buying headboards for beds. If the headboard does not fit the frame of bed snugly, it would not only look inappropriate, but it can spoil the entire appearance of the bed. - If the bedroom is small, then choosing a wrought iron headboard is a better option than going for heavy-looking leather headboards.
- The fitting of the headboard should be done carefully and correctly. Ensure that the bolt size is right, if the headboard is not part of the bed frame, and you have bought it as a separate item. Make sure that the bolts are secured and tight. Use a washer if you find that the bolt is too large for the hole made to fit the headboard.
